Gastroenterology case launched

A new VCC case addressing a range of issues related to gastroenterology has been launched this month. The case focuses upon the care of a client with chronic bowel problems. Students are required to prioritise how they would assess the client paying specific attention to privacy and dignity issues. A new feature that will also be added to most of the current cases requires the learner to draw the curtains around the bed space before they perform their assessment.
